Editorial policy
Guides are written for shoppers. Affiliate commission does not decide what a guide recommends.
Guides are written by Venkata Siva Ramakrishna Naidu. Each guide shows a published date and an updated date. They explain what to look for in a category. They do not claim that the author has personally tested every model, and they do not quote prices, statistics, or people that are not on the page from the live feed.
When a guide shows a lowest price or a number of listings, that block is rendered from the catalogue API for the linked category. If the API has no usable rows, the block says the live prices are not available. It does not fall back to a made-up number.
Product pages are not reviews. Their descriptions come from retailer feeds, with broken HTML removed. Ranking on a product page follows the feed price, not the commission rate.
Corrections: email venkata.naidu2427@gmail.com with the page URL and what is wrong. Factual mistakes in a guide are updated on the page and the updated date changes. We do not run a comments section on guides.
Affiliate links
Visit retailer goes through an affiliate hop. If you buy, the shop or the network may pay FindAProduct a commission. The commission is not added to your basket and it is not used to rank shops. The price on the shop’s page is the price you pay. The short disclosure next to the button, and the affiliate disclosure, describe the same hop. Guides do not name a product because it pays more.
How we choose what to publish
A buying guide is written when a department is large enough to confuse a shopper, or when the feed’s label does not match the products in it. The guide says what to match: size, piece count, material, or model code. It does not name a winner. Category pages carry their own notes for the biggest departments. Those notes describe the current feed. They are not a template with the department name swapped in.
We do not publish a guide that depends on a price, a test score, or a statistic we would have to invent. If the live list is empty, the guide still explains the decision and says the prices are not there. Corrections go to venkata.naidu2427@gmail.com. The updated date on the guide changes when the text changes.
AI tools may be used to draft structure. The published text is edited by the author and checked against the rules above before it is treated as a FindAProduct guide. Feed text is not passed off as our review.
