When not to buy from a comparison page
A comparison site should help you walk away. These are the cases where we would not click Visit retailer ourselves.
The page is only a feed row
If there is no photo, no clear name, and no second shop to compare, you are looking at a thin feed row. Search the product name on the shop’s own site, or wait until a cleaner listing appears.
Some categories mix unrelated items because the merchant filed them badly. Pots and planters is a known messy example. Do not assume every product in a department belongs there.
The price is the only thing that looks good
A single very low price next to much higher ones is often a different variant, a marketplace seller, or a stale promotion. Open the shop and read the size, colour and postage before you pay.
We cannot see basket-level postage or duty from the feed. A cheap headline price can become expensive at checkout, especially on All countries.
You wanted us to sell it to you
FindAProduct is not the shop. Except for a small set of publisher downloads that are sold on this domain, you complete the order on the retailer or the publisher website. If a page asks for your card for a normal retailer product, leave — that is not our checkout.
