How affiliate links work on FindAProduct
Visit retailer is a tracked hop. If you buy after that click, the shop or the network may pay us a commission. You still pay the shop’s listed price.
The click path
On a retailer product, Visit retailer goes to findaproduct.co.uk/go/{offer}, then to the shop’s Awin, CJ or Rakuten tracking URL, then to the retailer. That hop lets us count the click. It is marked as an affiliate link on the page.
Publisher Visit website links skip the shop networks and open the seller’s own product URL. Those are not retailer price comparisons.
Who pays us
The commission comes from the retailer or the affiliate network, not from an extra fee on your basket. If you click and do not buy, there is usually nothing to pay us. If you click, then search the shop again in a new tab, the shop may not count it as our referral.
We do not raise a product in the list because one network pays more. Ranking on a product page follows the live feed prices we have, then the facts on the page.
What we will not do
We will not invent products to make the catalogue look larger. We will not ask you to watch a video or complete a task in return for a click. Affiliate programmes ban that, and it is not how this shop works.
